The Lineman, as his name and history would seem to suggest, was a football player.  He was pretty good at what he did, to.  His career seemed very promising, but he purposely cut it short when he soon found that college-level football didn't satiate his innate desire for action... apparently, in addition to the over-abundance of rules, he preferred mixing it up one-on-one as opposed as team-to-team.

Due to his intense physical training, the Lineman has a massively muscled physique, extremely bulky for his height, and surprisingly limber.  While he doesn't have as diverse a mastery of wrestling moves as some other Superstars, he more than makes up with his sheer strength and athleticism.  In addition, he lives for the audience.  He usually comes out to the ring with an autographed football or jersey or two for the audience.
