There are two ultimately powerful forces which drive humanity: Greed and Vengeance. Wars are fought over these two dark temptations, men are slaughtered, women are defiled. Souls are sold for only the slightest taste from the goblets of these two dishes... one a dish best served quick, and one a dish best served cold.

We’ve seen what lengths a man will go to when the desire for money has taken root in his heart. The love of money, the Bible tells us, is the root of all evil. When the glint of gold has caught a man’s eye and achieved a stranglehold on his wants, he will go to any length, use any means, to fill his coffers to overflowing. And he’ll still want more, pushing, digging, breaking, exceeding all form of morality for the insatiable desire for more.

When a man is wronged, the immediate reaction is to strike back. We are told to "turn the other cheek", but this is a philosophy that few can continuously follow. Should an aggressor wrong us, cross the wrong boundary or utter the wrong word, the seething anger of humanity instantly desires to destroy the wrongdoer. Thus, we see how these two temptations are, ultimately, destructive.

So I suppose the upcoming events should simply be seen as a Display of Humanity at it’s Normalcy. For truly, many of the men that shall step into the squared circle will be seeking revenge, and many of the men that shall step into the squared circle will be seeking reward. They will be seeking Blood and Gold.
